The only difference between the 2011 and 2012 F150 5.0Ls and 6.2Ls was that they came in a few different colors of paint.
Ford decided that the powerful, high-displacement V8s in their F150s were a good thing and didn’t want to mess with it too much. Both the 5.0L and 6.2L 2012 F150s were great trucks with a lot of capability that got even better with some aftermarket performance parts and accessories.
