Wine, liquor, Beer, tobacco and cigarettes are not eligible. Neither is any item with a Supplement Facts label – i.e. medicines, vitamins, and supplements. Foods that are hot at the point of sale or any live animals aside from fish removed from the water, shellfish, and animals killed before pick-up from the store aren’t eligible with EBT. Neither are any non-food products like hygiene items, cleaning supplies, cosmetics, pet foods, paper products or other household supplies.
