Wheels for Women
Wheels for Women is a program offered by Newgate School, which aims to provide reliable used cars at no cost to single mothers in the Minneapolis area.
Recently, ten local car dealers collaborated with Newgate School to donate 12 cars over two years to mothers in need. These cars were given to families selected through the Wheels for Women program, run by Newgate School in Minneapolis, MN. Additionally, local dealerships donated cars to the program.
The Newgate School’s Wheels for Women program gave 12 single mothers in Minnesota cars filled with gifts through the Consumer Assistance Program (CAP).
To improve air quality in California, CAP provides grants to financially eligible California residents to help repair vehicles that do not meet vehicle emissions standards. Repairs are limited to Star test and repair stations.

This organization is a part of Cars4Heroes, which also provides free cars. The Christmas program is available for low-income individuals who are disabled or experiencing unusual hardships. However, only 20 vehicles will be given to 20 families in various locations due to limited availability.
Good News Garage
This non-profit program, operated by Lutheran Social Services, has been providing cars to underprivileged families since 1996. If you live in New England, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or Vermont, you may be eligible for the program.
